On 5th, May, there was good news from the conference “Solar 2008” held in San Diego State, America, Sunrain chief scientific advisor Dr. Harding honorably gained the highest prize in international solar industry----Holter Prize, because that he has successfully invented the solar heat preservation technology, meanwhile realized all-pervading promotion then.

Dr. Harding Is on the Conference

Dr. Harding is a doctor from Australian Government Project Academy of Science. He has made internationalized contribution to the solar technology. Since 2006, when he accepted the invitation to occupy the position of chief scientific advisor, he has tackled many technical problems, and finally invented the “Heat Preservation Layer” technology, i.e. solved the shortcoming of strong heat absorption, while weak heat preservation problem for solar water heater, thereby upgrade the solar industry from the “ heat absorption times” to “ heat preservation times”. The solar water heaters with “heat preservation layer” now have been installed more than 4, 000, 000 square meters. At the end of 2007, Dr. Harding excogitated the new-generation vacuum tube with the perfect integration of high-performance absorption and high-performance preservation, named South Pole Tube, which realized the further upgrade of “heat preservation layer” technology.

Dr. Harding Addressed a Speech on the Conference

As we know that Holter Prize is denominated in virtue of the MIT professor Mr. Hoiter Kraq Holter. From 1930s to middle of 1960s in the 20th century, Holter’s scientific achievements established groundwork for the solar business’ development. In order to memorialize his great efforts and outstanding contribution, American Solar Association set up Holter Prize, to honor those people who have made great contribution to solar industry. Holter Prize is the current highest prize in solar industry, choosing through public appraisal for one time every year. The basic qualification is that the candidate must have made outstanding contribution to the technology development in solar realm. The prize was gained by Sunrain scientific advisor Harding, no other than really being worthy of the name.
